: The dumbbell concentration curl works the whole of the front upper arm, known as the bicep area. The muscles that are being targeted are the bicep brachii and Brachialis.
To perform the Dumbbell concentration curl, sit on a bench with a dumbbell in one hand. Lean slightly forward and place your elbow on the inside of your knee. Let the arm hang down to start the exercise. Curl the dumbbell upwards towards your shoulder while keeping your upper arm still. Pause at the top position and slowly lower. Finish all the repetitions on the one arm before moving to the other side.
Breathe out as your curl upwards and breathe in as you slowly lower.
